Ormskirk Golf Club

Ormskirk Golf Club completely outsources its finance function to Tee to Green. From bookkeeping, to year-end accounts and everything in between, we give the club the tools to focus on what is important; running the club and harbouring growth.

Lancaster Golf Club

It has to be Royal Dornoch. The views around Dornoch Firth are just absolutely stunning and you can feel the history under your feet. Castle Stuart was a very close second though.

Probably Royal Birkdale, but I do love Windermere as a completely different challenge (having no bunkers certainly helps!). I also love Tecina on La Gomera for the fabulous views of Tenerife and Mount Teide.

Favourite course?
It’s an easy answer living in Southport, but it has to be Royal Birkdale. Walking through the clubhouse past the wall of champions and seeing all of the names that have won the Open Championship there, it is impossible to not be encapsulated by the magic of that course.

Is switching easy?

Absolutely – once we’ve agreed on a schedule of services, we’ll simply request that you speak with your current accountant to let them know you’re moving on. There’s no particular ‘best time’ to do this; we’ll be more than happy to start our work at the beginning of a new year or mid-year.

Should the club be thinking about going Limited?

Many clubs have been considering the benefits and drawbacks of moving to a Limited Company over the past few years. Whilst there’s no one size fits all answer to this question, we’ll be able to use our industry knowledge to guide you towards the decision that best suits your club.

Do we still need to be audited?

The honest answer for most clubs is usually no. Over recent years, the accounting thresholds for requiring an audit have increased, meaning many clubs are no longer legally required to be audited. For a vast majority of clubs who are still audited, the requirement is dictated by the club’s constitution. We’re happy to assist with internal discussions about constitutional amendments in order remove your club’s need for an annual audit.
